Georgia Hunter Education Course Practice Exam 2026 – The Complete All-in-One Guide to Exam Success!

If you become lost while hunting, the best course of action is to stay put and make yourself visible. This is the correct answer because staying in one place increases the likelihood of being found by search and rescue teams. Moving around when lost can make it more difficult for rescuers to locate you. Additionally, making yourself visible by wearing bright colors, building a signal fire, or using a whistle can help attract attention and aid in your rescue.

The other options are incorrect because panicking and shouting for help might waste energy and make it harder for rescuers to locate you. Trying to find your own way back could lead you further astray and make the situation worse. Calling a friend for directions might not be helpful as they may not know your exact location or be able to guide you safely back.
